Change X will be written mainly in Finnish, but we wanted to share some facts about us in English for foreigners that might find our blog.

Change (verb: to become different; noun: the act or fact of changing, Dictionary.com)

X (often used to represent unknowns, Wikipedia)

Greeting you from a guesthouse at Bangkok.

We are two exchange students and thus the name Change X is also relevant. It also describes our personal change that is inevitable and also wished; we wish to learn, understand and grow. X means unknown: we've never been exchange students let alone in Southeast Asia. So this is all new to us and it's very exciting. Below please read a little bit more about us as persons.

This blog will feature our reflections about people, cultures, places, studies, practices and so on. Hopefully we can record our amazing experiences for you to see and for ourselves to remember.

Mr. Ahti Viita

I am studying Accounting and Finance at University of Tampere and I have graduated as BBA. My minors are Management and Organisation and Asian Studies in Business and Business Cultures. I have also studied project management.

I like doing and watching sports, especially volleyball and beach volley. I want to learn new things all the time and see new places. I like reading and I have dreamed about a student exchange in Asia and writing a blog. Now I am going to do both things!

I consider myself a thinker and a dreamer, a student and a professional, a health enthusiast, a writer, an artist and an explorer. I've completed BBA degree and now I'm doing Master of Science (Econ., Bus. Adm.) studies at Creative Business Management programme in the University Consortium of Pori. My major is marketing. Former and current minors include media management and advanced project management. Currently I am studying at Limkokwing Unversity of Creative Technology at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm doing some courses at Faculty of Business Management and Globalisation.
